How Much Does a Garage Screen Door Cost?
It is usually the first question, and the honest answer is that it depends on your garage. Every Lifestyle garage screen we install is measured for its opening, and the frame is cut and assembled on site to suit, so we quote each job rather than publish a price list. What we can do is explain what drives the number, what the quote covers, and how to get an accurate one quickly. Elite Garage Screens is family-operated, with more than 20 years in the building industry behind it, and we now specialise in garage screens across the North Island from Kaitaia to Wellington. When you are ready, the request a quote form is the place to start, and the FAQs cover the measuring basics.
What affects the price
Opening size comes first. A double garage opening needs a wider screen than a single, so the width you measure from trim to trim, together with the height from trim to floor, sets the starting point.
Your door's tracks come next. The screen fits most sectional garage doors with standard horizontal tracks, but low-headroom tracks may need an extra kit, and that kit becomes part of the quote. Then there are your choices: frame colour (White, Sandstone or Dark Brown) and mesh (White for privacy or Super Black for a see-through view). Locks are also available, for both the frame and the retractable personal-access door.
Finally, location. We cover the North Island from Kaitaia to Wellington, and where you are within that area is part of what we quote on. Your head-room and track type are checked when we measure. Our service areas page lists the regions and towns we cover.
What the quote includes
A quote from us covers the screen and the fitting, not a box of parts. We measure on site, cut and assemble the frame at your place, and install the screen, which usually takes a few hours. The screen is built from quality USA-produced parts. You get a 5-year product warranty, and our installation is covered by a 12-month warranty. The screen works with your existing garage door rather than replacing it, and it is built for weatherproof operation. The quote is for your opening, as measured, with the options you chose.
How to get an accurate quote
Send us three measurements: the width trim to trim, the height trim to floor, and your head-room from the ceiling down to the lowest trim above the opening. Expect to give up about 30 mm of that head-room. Then use the quote form or call 021 849931 (Mon–Fri 9–4, Sat 10–2). If you are still deciding what you want, read about retractable garage door screens first.

Why don't you list prices online?
Each screen is measured for its own opening and the frame is cut on site, so the price depends on your garage. Send your measurements and we will quote for your door.
