How the Lifestyle retractable system works
The screen is spring-loaded and sits inside your garage opening. Pull it down to cover the opening and it holds the insects out while air comes through; let it go back and it retracts out of sight. It works with your existing garage door rather than replacing it, and it is built for weatherproof operation.
It fits most sectional garage doors with standard horizontal tracks. If your door runs on low-headroom tracks, an extra kit may be needed. For most sectional doors, the fit is straightforward.
Looking for a retractable garage door screen kit?
We understand the appeal of a kit, but a retractable screen only works well if it suits the opening exactly. That starts with the Daylight Opening, measured from trim to trim across and from trim to floor down, and with head-room, measured from the ceiling to the lowest trim above the opening. The screen uses about 30 mm of that head-room, more on a double-track low-headroom system, and some doors need the extra kit.
Getting those details right is why we measure, then cut and assemble the frame on site ourselves. The install usually takes a few hours, and because we fit it, our work is covered by a 12-month installation warranty on top of the 5-year product warranty. See how it works for each step.
A garage privacy screen as well as an insect screen
If privacy is what you are after, choose White mesh. That mesh is designed for privacy, so the garage can be a gym, workshop or entertaining space without feeling on display. If you would rather keep the view, Super Black mesh is see-through. Both are pet-proof. Either way, the garage stays airy.

No. We supply and install every screen ourselves. A good fit depends on accurate measurements of your opening and head-room, and we cut and assemble the frame on site.
Can a garage screen give me privacy?
Yes. Choose White mesh, which is designed for privacy. If you prefer to keep the view, Super Black mesh is see-through. Both are pet-proof.
How does a retractable garage screen work?
